Coats of arms - shields

This is my first project on itch.io, it contains 120 pictures of shields (40 different coats of arms in 3 shield shapes) created as 64x64 icons (shields are a bit smaller as there is empty row/column at each side). A few base colors with no antialiasing were used so it is true pixel art.

Most of these shields belonged to Bohemian (Czech) and Moravian noble familes or towns, but you can find coat of arms of foreign noble houses and cities too.

I wanted to create also 32x32 px versions however I have found out that in case of shields  containg heraldic animals it would be very tricky to keep their features even in this smaller size. Anyway, please let me know if you think that it would make sense. The project is not completely closed and I can add more shields in next version.

You can use these pictures for your projects, free or commercial. Of course you can't resell them. Credits are always welcome but not necessary.
